Recognizing the challenges faced by foster youth, the organization focuses on addressing the high school graduation gap and limited college enrollment through educational assistance and scholarships.

Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AFFCF) is committed to enhancing the lives of children in foster care across Arizona. AFFCF fills crucial gaps by funding a diverse range of athletic, educational, and social activities that may not be covered by state or other programs. The foundation's Keys to Success program is dedicated to empowering youth on the brink of aging out of foster care, offering individualized career planning, education, and employment services. By creating opportunities to boost self-esteem and providing vital support for successful transitions to adulthood, AFFCF ensures that children and youth in foster care have access to the same opportunities as their peers.

Homeless Youth Connection

Homeless Youth Connections (HYC) is dedicated to ensuring that homelessness doesn't impede a young person's path to success. Serving youth aged 13–21 in Maricopa County and Flagstaff, HYC collaborates with educators, government agencies, and community partners to eliminate graduation barriers for homeless youth. Their comprehensive services program, led by youth coaches, addresses academic, health, housing, and employment needs. Additionally, HYC's Host Family Program provides shelter, food, and transportation, fostering stability and positive life skills. Through these initiatives, HYC aims to empower homeless youth to graduate, set goals, and build a successful future, ultimately breaking the cycle of homelessness.
